Nancy Julia Hicks is a non-binary installation and performance artist, printmaker, educator, and poet. Through visualizing representations of tools, architectural spaces, and their own body, they illustrate and negotiate infliction of pain on space, other bodies, and their own body through soft sculpture, video work, and material.

 

They’ve exhibited work it the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in the Concourse Gallery, at The Soap Factory, the Highpoint Center for Printmaking, the Soo visual arts center, and other locations.
