Meet the Artists
Tori is an artist originally from Northern New Hampshire, currently pursuing a degree in Dance from the University of Minnesota. She is honored to be here, biking around, drinking tea, and making things. | Santi Jurado is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been fascinated by art and making things since he was a child, thats why he chose a Product Design Major. He mainly focuses on 3D art, which is what he enjoys the most, and one of his favorite mediums that he has recently discovered is electronic waste. It is one of the main occupants of landfills, so he enjoys giving it a new life. | Maddy Nyblade is a graduate student in Earth Sciences at the University of Minnesota studying the hydrology of wild rice ecosystems in collaboration with several Tribes and Inter-Tribal organizations. |

Philip Hommes is a movement artist, dance-maker, and music composer originally from Two Harbors, Minnesota. His dance training began at Duluth Dance Center in Duluth, MN and continued on to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where he is currently in his third year as a B.F.A student in dance. Philip has had opportunities working with multiple dance artists, both local and international, including Pramila Vasudevan, Eko Supriyanto, Annie Hanauer, and Alito Allesi. His main goal in creating | Lily Conforti is an artist from the twin cities, currently pursuing degrees in Dance and Physiology at the University of Minnesota. Lily’s work has been performed in the University of Minnesota's BLUEPRINT show, FUTURE INTERSTATES curated by HAIJAK, ArtBox's annual show INBOX@ARTBOX, and the FRINGE FESTIVAL. As a self-identified botanist from Minnesota studying plant biology at the University of Minnesota, I enjoy exploring the concepts surrounding the hidden lives of plants and how these photosynthetic feelings relate to our own. I hope to share some of my views on nature and the human experience through the poetry I write and to show people how interconnected we all are. | Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Eustis, Florida, Gregory T. Wilkins is a global citizen transcending nation states and currently resides in Mankato, Minnesota. He is an educator at Minnesota State Mankato as well as a mixed media artist. His art focus is photography, fiber, paint, and glass beading on paper and canvas. He currently serves as a curatorial panelist with the Minnesota Artist Exhibition Program at Minneapolis Institute of Art. | Erika Martin is a Minneapolis based dancer, choreographer, teacher and engaged citizen. Jack Sullivan is a Minneapolis-based choreographer who graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Dance and Strategic Communications in May of 2019. Sullivan's work plays around with choreographic structure and implements narrative by concealing it – letting it percolate on its own. He likes rainy days and crosswords, hot apple pie, cold ice cream and a fresh cup of black coffee. | Brenna is from Minnesota. She has been dancing her whole life! She studied abroad, fulfilled two years in the Conservation Corps, and now is a professional dancer and choreographer in the twin cities. Brenna is artistic director of Analog Dance Works, a dance company whose mission is to explore the intersection of dance and science. | Emily Anna Bierbrauer is a Twin Cities based artist with a degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Her background is rooted in the theater arts, which truly fuels her need to tell stories in her artwork. Recent work includes collaboration in the Northern Spark 2017 exhibit Tunnel Vision, an exhibition of her project (beauty/discomfort) at the Regis West Gallery, and now a multitude of projects within Twin Cities theater venues.
